Engineering/Architectural Design Surveys This type of survey is a combination of boundary and topographic surveys, and is used for preparation of a site plan to be used for designing improvements for developments such as subdivisions and shopping centers. In addition to the boundary and topographic information measurements are made to locate existing utilities, vegetation, driveways, sidewalks, buildings, and other improvements that could affect the final development.
