Qualifications:
As owner and president
of Northstar Ted is responsible for the overall operation of all
aspects of the company. He is familiar with the operation of all
field instrumentation and office software. He is typically
responsible for the majority of the deed and survey research for a
given project. Ted oversees all field and office procedures on each
project. This involves calculations for construction projects,
interpretation of field information relative to the deed history of
the property, developing contour and topographic maps, and CAD
development of all results as needed.

Robert A.
(Bob) Cook, P.L.S. :
Bob
earned his Bachelor's Degree at Rutgers University in Forest
Management in 1979, and immediately moved to Oregon. He worked
in Cadastral Surveying for the USFS in Lakeview for 4 years,
then a private outfit (AA Surveying) in Roseburg for 2.5 years
doing mostly forest related surveying. In 1988, Bob passed the
PLS exam and joined the Northstar Surveying team as Project
Manager, specializing in boundary and forest related surveying.
Dan Jones, LSIT: (Party Chief)
Jason Blaine, LSIT: (Party Chief)
Jason attended both Portland State
University and Oregon State University before joining the Northstar
Surveying team in 2004. He received his LSIT certification in January
2008. Specializing in Topographic and Construction Staking he utilizes
our Robotic and GPS equipment. He is continually integrating long
standing survey techniques with the best technology available today.
Thomas McGee: ( Party Chief-Webmaster)
Thomas has been a part of the Northstar
Surveying team since October 2005, working in the field as a survey
assistant and now party chief. He worked for (McGee Engineering) in
Corvallis for 4 years before joining the team. Specializes in
Topographic, GPS, and Boundary surveying.
He is also an Oregon native and has
spent most of his life in Corvallis. Currently he resides in his new
house in Albany with his wife (Michelle) and Marley like yellow lab (Mason). When
not at work he is a avid outdoorsman and amateur golfer.
Barb Langton:
Linda Vehrs: (Office Manager)
Linda has been part of the Northstar
Surveying team since December 2003, working as the Office Manager and
Bookkeeper. She came to Northstar with a background in business and
accounting and has been an accountant in public, non-profit and private
sectors.
She is also an Oregon native and has
spent most of her life in Albany. Currently she resides in Independence
with her husband (Larry) and daughter (Katie). She also belongs to
several pilot/aircraft organizations at the Independence Air Park and
donates her free time whenever possible.
